Goals and Themes
Building an international collaboration consortium to conduct genetic, genomic and physiological studies regarding the impact of the high-altitude environment upon human health is well aligned with the missions, internationalization, engagement and collaboration, of the International Institute. The primary goal of this multi- and inter-disciplinary research group of faculty members in the School of Engineering and the School of Medicine is to support an international research workshop (and eventually an international research consortium) at UC San Diego.
