Awards and Fellowships
The International Institute offers undergraduate and graduate awards and fellowships to support research and training on international topics. These include Graduate Research and Travel Awards to support dissertation research, and undergraduate Human Rights Fellowships.
Graduate Research and Travel Awards
Graduate Student Research and Travel Grants are intended to partially offset dissertation research travel expenses incurred in the U.S. or abroad.


UC Human Rights Fellowship
UC Human Rights Fellowships provide fellowships for students wishing to contribute their energy and expertise to human rights organizations worldwide
International Research Internship
This summer program pairs community college students from San Diego Mesa College & Cuyamaca College with grad student projects focused on international issues.
